Oanh Meyer, PhD, MAS
Dr. Oanh Meyer is a Principle Investigator at the Diversity and Disparities laboratory, and an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the UC Davis School of Medicine. She studies cognitive and mental health disparities in racial/ethnic minorities and older adults from a broad, population level and also at the individual level. Dr. Meyer recently received a three-year research grant from the Alzheimer’s Association to develop and implement a program to help Vietnamese Americans taking care of a family member with dementia or problems with memory loss.
Jason Resendez
Jason is the Executive Director of the UsAgainstAlzheimer’s Center for Brain Health Equity and head of the LatinosAgainstAlzheimer’s Coalition. He has contributed to research on the socioeconomic impacts of brain health inequities and on the science of community engagement in brain research. He is currently a co-investigator of the NIH-funded FOREVER Project (Foundations of Representative Engagement, Valid & Effective Recruitment in Alzheimer’s Research) with Dr. Jonathan Jackson of Massachusetts General Hospital.

John Saunders, Jr.
John Saunders, Jr. has served in multiple leadership roles for national, regional and local nonprofit organizations for close to three decades. Through this experience, Saunders has planned, managed and implemented various youth, family and older adult program/service delivery and fund development initiatives that have achieved organizational goals and empowered individuals in the achievement of their life dreams.
