Charles DeCarli, MD
Dr. Charles DeCarli is the Director of UC Davis Health's Alzheimer’s Disease Center, Director of the Imaging of Dementia and Aging (IDeA) laboratory, and a Professor of Neurology at the UC Davis School of Medicine. He is one of the champions of the Healthy Brain Aging Initiative, which seeks to advance novel approaches to optimize brain health from birth.
Miranda Huffman, MD, MEd
Dr. Miranda Huffman is a family physician in Nashville, Tennessee. She is a graduate of the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and earned a Masters in Education from Kent State University. She has served as family medicine faculty at the University of Missouri – Kansas City and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, prior to joining Western Reserve Medical Group. She is an adjunct clinical faculty at Meharry Medical College and is certified as an HIV specialist with a particular interest in substance use disorders and chronic pain.
Daniel Purdom, MD
Dr. Dan Purdom is board certified in Geriatrics and Family Medicine and is the associate director for the Geriatric Medicine fellowship in the Department of Community & Family Medicine at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. He has a particular interest in community care, remote monitoring of chronic health conditions, telehealth and Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs). Dr. Purdom has been a faculty advisor for the Sojourner Clinic, a free clinic operated by UMKC Medical, PA and pharmacy students who serve the homeless in downtown Kansas City since its inception 16 years ago.
